First impression
The first impression is often the most spot-on, so here’s what we learned immediately after signup:

That’s what caught our eye within the first minutes of testing the Lucky Date website. But we spent four more weeks exploring the fine print and getting to know international daters, and we’ll now share our hard-won insights with you.

We didn’t particularly enjoy the search interface until we tested it on mobile. It was very handy on the small screen, so we recommend using TheLuckyDate on your smartphone or tablet.
Member profiles
TheLuckyDate profiles host short bios and basic personal details, like age, marital status, number of children, hobbies, and interests. At the same time, nine out of ten profiles we explored held over ten photos and short video clips. Although some were private, they became immediately available after we received responses from the ladies.
We found no evidence of profile verification, but the sheer number of photos made us believe most profiles were real. We could also report abuse and block any suspicious users.
Live chat and mail
Aside from standard chat and mail, TheLuckyDate offers disappearing photo and video messages, which are especially useful for swapping intimate pictures. We didn’t rely on stock conversation starters and found stickers overpriced, but the overall messaging experience was exciting, thanks to fast responses from eager ladies.

In four weeks of testing, we bought two 80,000-credit bundles, but we spent at least 30 minutes chatting daily. Based on what we learned, we can’t agree with TheLuckyDate scam allegations since the rates are average for the niche, and we were in complete control of our spending.
